Dr. Manoj Goel completed his MBBS (1988) and MD in Medicine (1992) at King George Medical College, now known as King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. He pursued advanced training in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Lille, France, followed by fellowships in Intensive Care Medicine at Erasme University Hospital in Brussels, Belgium, and Sleep Medicine at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
He is a Fellow of the National College of Chest Physicians, the Indian Association of Bronchology, and the Indian Sleep Disorders Association. In addition, he is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association.
Dr. Goel has specialized expertise in advanced bronchoscopic and ultrasound-guided techniques such as EBUS-TBNA, radial probe EBUS, and cryo-biopsy, with training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Australia. He has been a regular faculty member, course director, and keynote speaker at leading national conferences on pulmonology, sleep medicine, bronchoscopy, and critical care. He has also organized and led numerous workshops and training programs, including some of the earliest programs on non-invasive ventilation and bronchoscopy in intensive care units in India.
With over 25 publications in national and international journals, Dr. Goel has been recognized with a National Award from the National College of Chest Physicians for his research in pulmonary interventions. He has previously served as an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (Delhi & NCR).
Areas of special interest: Interventional Pulmonology, Bronchoscopy, EBUS techniques, Medical Thoracoscopy, Cryobiopsy, Airway Stenting, Complex Pulmonary Diseases, Severe Asthma, and management of both chronic and acute respiratory illnesses.
