Dr. Piyush Varshney is a senior urologist with nearly 25 years of clinical and surgical expertise, currently serving as Director of Urology & Kidney Transplant at Fortis Noida. He completed his MCh in Urology with a Gold Medal from the renowned Sion Hospital, Mumbai, and has also worked at leading institutes including AIIMS Delhi, RG Stone Hospital (Delhi), and AMU Aligarh.
Over the years, Dr. Varshney has been extensively involved in kidney transplantation and has performed thousands of procedures including live donor, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, ABO-incompatible, cadaveric, and swap transplants. He is credited with performing Noida’s first robotic kidney transplant and has developed strong expertise in robotic urological surgeries such as radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy, partial/radical nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteric reimplantation, and VVF repair.
He is also a highly experienced kidney stone specialist and has carried out several thousand advanced endourological procedures including PCNL, MiniPerc, URS, RIRS, TURP, HoLEP, and TURBT. For more than two decades, he has been performing prostate surgeries with holmium laser (HoLEP), establishing himself as a pioneer in this technique in Delhi-NCR.
