Dr. Pankaj Ranjan is a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with more than 15 years of extensive experience in advanced cardiac care. He completed his medical graduation from the University of Calcutta, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from RIMS, Ranchi. He later pursued his super-specialization in Cardiology (DM) from IPGMER, Kolkata, one of India’s premier cardiac training institutes.
During his residency and subsequent clinical practice, Dr. Ranjan gained in-depth expertise in both non-invasive and interventional cardiology, including advanced device-based therapies. He began his interventional cardiology career in Noida and has since worked across several leading hospitals in the Delhi NCR region.
Dr. Ranjan has independently performed over 10,000 cardiac procedures, including more than 2,500 coronary angioplasties and 1,000+ cardiac device implantations such as AICD, CRT-P, and CRT-D. He is particularly skilled in radial-access interventions and routinely manages complex coronary cases, including left main and heavily calcified lesions, as well as adult congenital heart disease interventions. Currently, he leads the Department of Cardiology at Yatharth Hospitals.
