Dr. Rahul Gupta is an accomplished neurosurgeon with more than two decades of experience in managing complex brain and spine disorders. He has extensive expertise in minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, neurovascular interventions, pediatric neurosurgery, and advanced tumor surgeries. Over the course of his career, he has successfully conducted more than 11,000 neurosurgical operations.
He completed his medical training at Government Medical College, Rohtak, and earned his MCh in Neurosurgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Before joining Fortis Noida in 2012, he served as faculty in neurosurgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi for nearly 8 years.
Dr. Gupta has contributed significantly to academics, having presented numerous research papers at international and national platforms and authored over 55 scientific publications. In recognition of his contributions, he received the prestigious Sugita Scholarship at Nagoya University, Japan (2011). He has also undergone advanced training in fluorescence-guided surgery for malignant gliomas in Austria and functional neurosurgery in the Netherlands.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gupta has authored a book on back pain (in English and Hindi), actively participates in awareness initiatives for brain and spine health, and has been instrumental in training more than 20 neurosurgical residents through a structured DNB program at Fortis Hospital.
