Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Gupta serves as the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, widely recognized as one of the world’s leading liver transplant facilities. With a track record of performing over 3,000 liver transplants, the Centre now carries out more than 200 transplants each year, in addition to a large number of challenging hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) procedures.
In his role, Dr. Gupta is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical safety and quality across multiple specialties, including Hepatology, Anaesthesia, and Critical Care.
He became part of Max Healthcare in January 2017, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in Surgical Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, and HPB Oncology.
